Safety Net Earth Handwoven Wool Rug
Designed by Kit Kemp, co-owner and creative director of Firmdale Hotels, the Safety Net rug draws its pattern from the hand-knotted fishing nets draped over boats in Barbados. Woven in India from a wool-forward blend, the Earth colourway carries warm, grounded tones that work naturally with natural wood, linen, and layered textile interiors. The flatweave construction keeps the profile low and the surface smooth.
Durable and soft underfoot, this rug is well suited to living rooms, hallways, staircases, and kids' rooms where foot traffic is consistent. The flat, close weave makes it easy to maintain and practical under furniture. Available in a range of sizes, from a 2-by-3-foot accent to a generous 9.5-by-13.5-foot layout, so it scales comfortably across different spaces.
