A new calendar year means a new list of interior design trend predictions are here! Now Trending: Interior Looks We're Loving

Colour Trend:
MORE RICH COLOUR

Gone are the days of all-white (and grey!) rooms. This year, we are predicting that we'll see more colour being embraced in the design world. Deep greens, juicy deep reds and blues will take over your feeds this year.

Design Trend:
ACCENT MILLWORK

With design leaning more English these days, so too is the use of more millwork and built-in cabinetry. Looking for your room to feel more layered? Add mouldings to your walls and in your built-in cabinetry to act as a backdrop to your favourite collections or artwork.

Design Style Trend:
English Country Club

We'll be seeing designers take on the "English Country Club" look with the mix of polished and natural materials. Think Ralph Lauren meets the Cotswolds. We've been seeing designers with an English bent to their work all over our feeds in recent months and we can totally see why - fresh traditional never goes out of style, only evolves.

Kitchen Trend:
Mushroom Cabinetry

Although the all-white kitchen look will always have timeless appeal, we are really loving the mix of creamy cabinetry and wood mixed with cool marble and natural brass. Again, things are looking and feeling more olde English overall, and the kitchen is no exception.

Exterior Trends:
Timeless Brick and Sided Homes

Chances are you have a Modern Farmhouse style home in your neighbourhood. With this stark white and black window trend dominating design over the last decade, we're seeing design go more traditional once again. Think traditional single colour brick homes and sided options that fit into histrical neighbourhoods and have you wondering whether they are the new kid on the block...or not?
